Community Service

 Today, we are going to do the question on community service in your textbook. We will read the passages and mark them up and then tomorrow write the essay in class.

HW: Finish "At the Western Place" chapter.

Wednesday

 Today we will try and finish chapter 3 of Language and Composition. First, you have 8 MC questions assigned to you on AP Classroom. Then we need to discuss, briefly, your essays.

Homework: Read THE WARRIOR WOMEN to page 153.

Tuesday

 Today we need to get back to The Language of Composition and look at chapter 3. This chapter is on synthesis.

HOMEWORK: The Woman Warrior pages 113-132

Friday

 Today we are going to discuss The Woman Warrior and then I will give you a choice - 1) To continue the MC questions from yesterday and do the essay on Monday, or 2) To do the essay today and work on the MC questions on Monday.

 Today we are going to discuss the open essay on the AP Language test. We will read and discuss a prompt and look at/score some student examples. 

Then we will get back into The Woman Warrior.

Tomorrow we will look at MC questions and Friday work on an essay. Next week we will get back to THE LANGUAGE OF COMPOSITION.
